Loqate Brand Launch Film

GBG, the global specialists in identity data intelligence, were in the process of launching a new brand, Loqate, and required a film to help tell the brand story and what this meant to their customers. The film would reveal the new branding in an exciting and engaging way and clearly position GBG as world class and stand out against competition. Solution The Top Banana film director had a clear vision from the start of the project. The message was presenter led taking the audience on a journey through different places and locations with a script explaining what location intelligence is and why Loqate are number one in their field. The presenter was filmed in multiple locations as well as the Top Banana film studio. To illustrate the global presence of GBG and give scale to the message, stock footage was edited with the filmed footage. The message was really brought to life through animation which helped illustrate the volume of data available in different locations as it appears at the fingertips of the presenter. To elevate the production values further, the final edit was sent to a music composer to create the sound design to fit the film. The final cut was completed with a grade to enhance the images and create a high-end cinematic quality film.

Topps Tiles TV Commercial

Over the last few years, Topps Tiles have undergone a major re brand. Being over 50 years old, the company have set out to change brand perceptions with the public and become an interior design brand with authority on style and inspiration.

An element of their wider strategy was to produce a TV Commercial that could also be used for social media, which encapsulated this new look and feel. The Top Banana team were bought in by advertising agency, Rock Kitchen Harris, to help produce the ‘Think you know Topps Tiles… Think Again’ TV campaign, that would introduce previous customers and new shoppers to the new innovative brand, whilst increasing footfall and web traffic ahead of a peak trading period. Working with brand ambassador Sarah Beeny, the Top Banana team spent time at Sonica Studios recording the voice over for the commercials, which set the crew up for the rest of the work in Manchester; a whole 6-day set build and 4-day studio shoot. We were able to bring Topps Tiles new brand to life by using our preferred choice of camera, the ARRI Alexa Mini with cine primes, which produced the premium look and feel required for each of the 4 room sets; showcasing Topps Tiles latest and most stylish stock. After the edit at Top Banana, the final touches were a grade session at Dock10, followed by an audio dub at The Audio Suite. The final film is now being broadcast on National Television and several social media platforms.

npower Agile Working

npower approached Top Banana Film to produce an animation film that demonstrated their three new ways of working within their business; field based, anchored and roaming workers. A video that would be shared with their internal employees; the animation had to explain clearly how the new solutions would fit into day to day working life and what it would mean to different people. The film needed to demonstrate that agile working will mean different things to different people; but overall it would be beneficial to both the company and its employees, as npower was committed to creating working environments that work for everyone. Working directly with npower, a script writer designed the content, so it would fit concisely into the animation. Our team of graphic designers worked up the character and background assets that were then brought to life by our in-house team of motion graphic designers. Voice over, music track and sound effects completed the 5-minute animation.
